Sorry, but I'm closing this community, a few reasons led me to my decision.

• I haven't got the time, my interests are many these days and so my spare time is limited and moderating/updating DA accounts isn't top of my priorities.

• I realised I have 4 DA accounts the other day!? why!? I don't even come on this site all that often anymore, especially as its not all that Mac compatible anymore, so a lot more difficult for me to view the pages.

• My vision for what Consumed By Darkness was to represent differed wildly from others views. The amount of notes I have recieved from people wishing to be members, who clearly had no concept of 'old skool' or 'extreme' was depressing. You could argue that using this site would be a means to educate, I doubt that! Besides I have a lot of work to do on Scan-DM-Mania.co.uk which is my main pet project for an old skool resource.

Apologies to those of you who really did have genuine interest/passion for old skool DM, BM, etc though fans of quality DM are few and far between these days in the shadow of BM...which personally I believe to have become a ridiculous parody of itself. Being a member of a community doesn't really mean anything anyway, just look on the black metal and death metal communities here on DA, what a joke! You know yourselves how much you love the music, you don't need a society/community/club to prove that!
